So, same route as the shorter barrels? Purely a DA when done? Lastly, how is the “new” DA after the part swaps compared to either stock, or a “normal” action job? One day I will own a 4 or 5” 686 - too many bills for now ;-(

Yup DAO just like the others. I'm simply a fan of tool steel parts over the original MIM parts. I like the idea that the action parts will last longer than I will.. As soon as I find the 5 inch gun and get it modified I'll show a couple of 6 inch pre-lock L frames that I won't change to DAO.
