Thoughts while posting the pictures. Is this thing cut for moon clips? I like that front sight! The rear sight is nice but I'd want an adjustable sight..

That's a really serious looking personal protection tool, Axe! No bells and whistles, all business. Any idea of the weight unloaded? As I'm sure you know, the vast majority of Ruger's GP-100s come with adj rear sights. I think there's room in the stable for a dedicated SD tool with fixed sights. I still wish Smith made the K-frame M-65 with fixed sights and a 3" barrel.

I always thought the GP100 was a bit rotund. However, as a 7 shooter I think it would be quite nice! And I like those sights as well, seems most of us here do.
I’d like one just like that, and a matching S&W L frame 7 just because! 😬

I have a 3" WC and I love the Novaks. I had a 3" adjustable sighted GP, sold it and kept the WC. The Novaks are so much faster to align and get into action. The action on the WC is better and I like the dull gray finish on the WC. I just like 3" barreled DA revolvers. Seven shot model should be a faster cylinder rotation and possibly a shorter DA trigger stroke? Have to see if I can find one.
