Alright! They still have a toe instead of a flat nose shovel on the end!

NICE BOOTS. WORE COWBOY BOOTS FOR MANY YEARS. BOUGHT MY LAST PAIR OF DRESS LEATHER SHOES IN 1972. BLACK OSTRICH USED TO BE MY FORMAL WEAR BOOTS (TUX, SUIT, WEDDINGS, FUNERALS, etc.) BUT AS YOU AGE YOUR FOOT GETS WIDER AND NO MORE COWBOY BOOTS FOR ME, NOW I USE WIDE ROPER's.

I know a lot of people like the big quill marks or whatever they call them but I really like the look of the smooth ostrich. They also have some Bison that look good

Wife bought two pairs of Tecovas for me within the last couple years. They do have the softest leather I've had yet in a boot. I kind of use them in place of dress shoes. I like them.
She also ordered some Tecovas socks for me. Easily the best socks I've worn.
I think the double h brand is probably more durable and better for everyday use. Just not as dressy and maybe not quite as comfortable. I like them too.

Been looking at tecovas for awhile. Do they fit true to size. I’ve been wanting the smooth ostrich in black

I have my boots made by Rios of Mercedes in TX. Amazing quality if you ever need another brand to try. Some stores stock them but I always preferred picking out everything and they build them how you want it. From stitching to heel/toe types etc.

Been looking at tecovas for awhile. Do they fit true to size. I’ve been wanting the smooth ostrich in black Mine fit very well. I ordered a size 13 and that is what I got. So at least for me they wery true to size. They have great customer service according to the reviews. If you order them and they don’t fit you can return them for a different size

My first set were regular width and tight. I spent about a month trying to decide whether to send them back. Ultimately, I kept them and wear them with thin socks. They did break in some. In reality, I should have asked my wife to order a wider width.
I would likely go to shoe store and get accurate foot measurement before so you can provide that to them when ordering.
