Wranglers with the "relaxed fit" are grandpa jeans.

Brave Star. Sewn in USA, not a sweat shop either. All denim is old style selvidge and was all US Cone brand until that company closed its doors. Now all their denim comes either from Japan or Italy. I’m a skinny dude and wear either their slim straight or true straight cut. True straight is about an extra half inch rise in the seat. Worn them now for 7 years. They are like Levi’s from the seventies quality wise.

If Selvidge, and Selvidge style, mean ring spun, I'm in. Not an expert by far. Dad spoke of denim dungarees, and said jeans are not the same. He pointed to mine(heavy on the wear-n-tear kid)any hole quickly ran to either side seam. Older stuff of his, maybe that Selvidge type ? Ring spun, and a hole, stayed a hole, and repairable.

The last pair of jeans I bought were Lee. Too many styles to choose from. The ones I ordered looked like skinney leg jeans. I've worn them once.
A friend pointed me to Duluth Trading Carpenter pants. They are relaxed fit(slightly stretchy). They still have that "ballroom' feature that I don't like but otherwise are very comfortable. I'm retired so I can't comment on how they wear.
Haven't worn Levi's in 30 years.

Faded Glory, from WM, for years now, but I don't wear jeans that much any more. They are inexpensive and pretty durable, but they are not flattering, so if you are young, single and have are reasonably fit and aren't shy about that, probably not for you. Needless to say, they don't do my image any harm at all. I was thinking they were Rustlers, from WM, but somehow, at some point, I bought the "wrong" ones and have been wearing them for years. Faded Glory is VERY sensitive to customers' needs... or pride, I'd guess. I believe in my heart that they have worked out an algorithm which allows fat, old guys to get fatter as they get older, but still be able to buy the same waist size over the years. Whatever they are doing, it seems the pants must grow to fit the expanding waistline, but the tag stays at the original circumference as was purchased the first time, when the guy was young and fit. I wear jeans when I mow, work on vehicles or when I cut/split firewood any more, so they last a long time. I've found the "casual" chinos-type pants to be cut much more comfortably than the cheap jeans I buy. so I wear something like that most of the time any more. I got used to wearing these when I started working in an office environment in the early nineties and they are more comfortable, so I wear them unless doing "real work."
