Tell UPS it's "Machine Parts". Technically, a firearm is a mechanical device. Otherwise ship any non serialized gun parts USPS...They're only legally allowed to ask if it's liquid, toxic or perishable.

"How many of us really need all the big bores we have? The need is not physical, the need is mental, emotional, spiritual, or whatever tag one wishes to apply. Dreams make life bearable. And hopefully for some of us, the dreams become reality".
I just shipped a Henry 22 back a few weeks ago. When Henry sent me the shipping label, they noted to drop it off at a customer service center. Not to take it to a local UPS store.
The UPS customer service center was about 45 minutes from me. I have a UPS store 10 minutes from my house. I called and talked to the manager at the local UPS store and explained the situation. He said drop it off here and he would take care of it.
It made it to Henry and back to me with no problems.
