I think the thread reflects a couple things.
It reflects maturity - i.e. my life is not perfect; but it could be a whole lot worse.
And also that this is a group who are not just some anonymous posters on the web. They're good people who matter. When I read airborne's comment, I find myself wanting to know about his history. We all take different paths to get where we are. When I read longhunter's comment, I think back to all those posts with squirrels and wonder what challenges he is currently facing.

Fellas, dont get me wrong,i do lose my patience at times, and the stroke bs got me down now and then, but i push through those times, got to get it behind me. I can bitch while pushing forward. Ut i try my best to keep it in perspective. If you keep it all bottled up that can't be healthy. Blow it out and move on.

While I won't complain, knowing what I know now, I would have chosen differently on many occasions.

My life is so good now that I don’t want to wake up and find something to complain about. I would like to burn more powder than I now do, but that is a dream not a complaint.

That's a very inspiring attitude callshot, especially knowing that your life hasn't always been a bed of roses. I still admire you for your life story we read about on these pages.

I’ve got complaints but I know they’d fall on deaf ears so I keep my mouth shut at work, at home and especially on the internet. People just don’t like a complainer.

This from a man that I look at as a ROCK of strength. I know many of us followed his life,, and saw how he handled things that life gave him with strength in his Faith, as well as the support of friends. Yet,, I never heard a single complaint, only positive stuff.

It would take a book that no one would read to tell my life's story. Everything from learning the hard way not to dodge a deer on the highway that resulted in a rollover accident; then almost getting a DUI in the hospital because I ate too many poppyseed rolls. Later being officially credited by the Army for saving the lives of over 400 people. The list goes on. Again, it would be a book no one would read. I just hug my kids and wife and say tomorrow is going to be a better day.

Sounds like a pretty interesting book to me.
FWIW: Missed hitting a deer crossing the road in the middle of town last Friday by maybe 5 feet. Would have hit it if I hadn't hit the brakes hard.
