An issue with the website ? Also, on my end, a warning that site not secure. Then the notice, not taking orders.

I'd have to double check; but pretty sure I have at least one. Seems like it has a walrus tusk handle if I remember correctly.

That's sad. The man made exquisite knives, without resorting to silly, useless "features."

I wonder if he is doing like some gunsmiths and just stopping to catch up?

I have some of his knives. I went to school in Starkville so I like having knives from him and the Winston’s. I think Gene fell and hurt himself a while back if I remember correctly. I’ll have to some of his out for a pic. I love how they handle.

Here is an Ingram knife that was given to me by friends Glenn and Durwood when I retired.... I was told I was getting 416 Rigby brass, what a surprise..... Has my initials engraved and I carried in Africa.... PS- Doc Barantti made the sheath....

I went through a phase where I thought collecting knives would be kind of fun so I ended up with one or two of his knives, Charles May’s, Bill Snows, Dozers and a few others. Held them, saw and felt how they sat in my hand and how their proportions settled to my eye and just decided I like a slimmer style knife so sold them all, ordered from Kim and never looked back. I do still have one by John Linebaugh’s friend who made the knives for John’s special sets but it is at Dustin’s getting scaled to match the gun he is finishing.

Never had a Gene Ingram myself, but did have a couple Charlie May's knives.
I noticed a similarity in their knives and wondered if there were a connection.
Charlie was sure nice enough to talk to when you were asking him to make you a knife.
