These are good guns for the money. I just got the 856 model with VZ grips and an orange outline front sight. Only 100 rounds through it yet, but I'm pleased with it so far. The trigger pull needs some work and I've installed Wolff springs, which made a significant improvement, but the reduced power hammer spring won't set off primers 100%. I have a set of Galloway springs ordered to see if they are better. I think it's going to make a good truck gun.

Attactive piece that definitely fills a necessary niche. I have the new Colt King Cobra and it is spendy but it is nicely finished with a great action. In all honesty I probably swalloowed my pride and purchased the model 856 if it had been available.

I have an 856 that I like very much. Six shots in a small attractive stainless package. Mine is actually quite accurate, probably twice as good as my S&W 642.
Mine had a problem where when you squeezed the trigger the cylinder would turn backwards slightly before the hand moved it to the next charge hole. If you fired a couple rounds it moved far enough that in a cylinder of rounds it would appear to misfire once or twice because the cylinder was heavy enough with the fired rounds on one side and the unfired (and heavier) rounds would make it move far enough to re-strike the previously fired round. Happened in single or double action. The hand didn't protrude quite far enough against the cylinder latch to engage it in time to stop the cylinder from "falling" backwards. It was an easy fix and I really do like this little revolver.
