Thinking I need one for indoor shooting. Got any good or bad experiences to talk about?

ALL GOOD BUT CAN BE PICKY WITH .22s. LEARNING CURVE GOES WITH IT.

Love ours. Some guns may need a “trigger” to work depending on noise level. Indoors could be tricky if someone is close to your shooting.

Mine has been good, but it did take a learning curve like Mr. Taffin said. Only round that I've had some issues with is the .460 S&W Magnum.

They are backordered right now like most things and I'm waiting on mine to arrive. An engineer friend tells me their software is kind of strange and not intuitive but works good enough once you understand it.

I use to shoot with a guy at our local range who had one. Very picky with rimfire. Forget suppressed rimfire. Most suppressed subsonic centerfire would not read. Sometimes the gun in the next lane would trigger his. All depends on the firearms used.
I have an Oehler 33 with three skyscreens that is foolproof, but I haven't used it in ten years. I have either my Prochrono or my Magnetospeed with me at every range session.

The comments about suppressed rimfire are one of the major concerns of my engineer friend mentioned above. He is a manufacturer of suppressors and has found some ways around the issue with LabRadar. Let me know if there is any interest in that and I will get his comments and workarounds for us.

I really like my Labradar. So much easier than trying to line up sky screens (I have an Oehler 35P also), especially when other people are waiting and giving you the evil eye... I've never had a problem, even with rimfire rifles.
If you do get one, if you have a smart phone, Labradar makes an app for your phone that you can download and use to control the Labradar unit. Much easier than trying to page through the menus on the radar unit itself and you can have it close at hand and see the result of each shot, start new strings, etc...

Labradar in stock at Midway 5/19/22. I'll have mine in hand in a few days. Looks like the one in stock at Midway is LabRadar Lite model. No Bluetooth/smart phone app. I didn’t know there was a second model. Same price though. Tim

I'm backordered on a LabRadar from Gunwerks. I'm going to verify that it's for the full version, not the Lite version.
