I wanted to give a shout out to Elizabeth Roddy at Wolfe Pubs. I signed up for a 2-year subscription and asked specifically for this issue. I got an email back the next day from her saying that it would be included. My Bowen Nimrod and I are very happy.

Only problem of the article is the proof load part.
130 to 155 percent above Maximum average pressure is wrong........folks could misread this.

Someone reads that a proof load for a 34,000 spec is 78,200 to 86,700(Which is 130-155%above) he may try to push the boundary..........

I wrote it off as a type-o. Don't think it matters as no one should proof load anything outside a controlled test environment.

I understand what was meant. No doubt there.

Just what folks would see as a proof load.........they would think they could push the standard load.

That’s why I like the Colt loads articles.........it gives loads.
