The Clements sights look great but the one I had installed is problematic. I bought it off this board. It was unfinished not hardened. I'm not sure if they are all that way? If you lower it, the entire sight has to be removed and bent back straight to have any tension. It's beautiful visually but once it's set, it stays put. It gives a great sight picture.

I got the impression the sight is meant to be tempered and curved to make it a spring pushing up that you have to screw down to lower. I don't know at what point in the process that's supposed to happen.

there is no foot on it to pull the sight down. Harton told me years ago that his one complaint abought the sight was that the steel wasn't hardened and spring tempered
