What happened to them? Facebook page persists, but their website for ammo is gone. I really liked their ammo for 45-70.
Bother.

Never heard of them but I know some of these small guys are really struggling to get components to keep loading with. At least one stopped selling to new customers until resupplied (they may be back up now but I don’t know that). Others have just been on perpetual back stock status.
Just a speculative guess.

By far, the best method to acquire good 45-70 ammo is to roll your own.

Amen Brother''' I, for the life of me, can't figure out why some of the precise re-loaders don't start offering their services to forum members for reloads. Why the hell do we have to deal with anyone other than ourselves for this round.

I handload for myself, & myself only. Unfortunately, with a 150 year old cartridge like the 45-70, great care must be exercised. All it takes is for some six-pack Bubba to fire a Ruger #1 max load through great granddaddy's trapdoor, & assuming he survives, it's hello summons! There's good a reason factory loads are so anemic...

Also, yielding this thread back to the OP, I've also never even heard of the Powder River Cartridge Company?
