As a side note on velocity between a semi auto barrel and revolver barrel of the same caliber Allan Jones the ballistician done some tests on that and found in all the tests he done that the bullet had the higher velocity out of the revolver. I had always thought, as many others, that the cylinder gap lowered the velocity because of the vented gas. READ AN ARTICLE A YEAR OR 2 OR SO AGO, THAT HAD FOUND SIMILAR RESULTS IN 45 ACP REVOLVER vs SEMI-AUTO, AND THE AUTHOR ATTRIBUTED THE PHENOM TO THE FREE BORE IN THE REVOLVER CYLINDER.

On your RW Dealer grip frame, is it brass?
Reason I’m asking it appears blued/black and didn’t know if brass could be blued.
