IF YOU LIVED DOWN THE STREET I COULD HELP YOU BUT SHIPPING AMMO IS ONE BIG, HUGE PAIN IN THE ASS, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE NOT MAKING ANY MONEY ON THE DEAL. THE LAST TIME I SHIPPED AMMO I SWORE, NEVER AGAIN.

Better off to buy the brass, primers, powder and bullets and roll your own.

I have everything I need to load a 1000 rounds or so, it's the only rifle cartridge I reload for but it is a pain in the ass. I would just as soon buy some but looks like I'm going to have to break everything out and get to it.

THE LAST TIME I SHIPPED AMMO I SWORE, NEVER AGAIN. I have sent ammo many times, you just have to use UPS and put an ORM-D sticker on it, doesn't cost any more than anything else to ship. No hazmat fee, never had a problem.

DAVID: YOU NEED TO FIND AN APPROPRIATE SIZED BOX, PACK IT, PUT AN ORM-D STICKER ON IT AND TAKE IT DOWM TO THE UPS DEPOT (MY LOCAL UPS SHIP STORE WON'T TAKE IT), ALL EQUALS A BIG PAIN IN THE ASS TO SHIP TO SHIP 50-100 ROUNDS. I NEVER SCALPED MY AMMO, JUST SHARED IT AT COST.

PITA or not...Given the high price of factory Hornet ammo, even pre current insanity, if you already have the components...I'd have at it!

UPS STORE, is not UPS. It is an Amazon holding. You need to find the local UPS shipping hub. They will have a shipping window. UPS proper will not give you grief with loaded ammo. It is not hazmat and is quite easy. I have been shipping ammo for 37+ years. UPS store is same as Mail Boxes Etc and other such outfits.

BTW, I have been having trouble with Hornet components myself. I could use a couple hundred pieces of brass if anyone has some to spare! I have a from scratch falling block action I am doing in Hornet and I while I have 1000 17 AH that I could "de-engineer" if I have too, I would prefer to start with un fired brass if could.

If I remember correctly you can also arrange a pick up or give it to a driver so long as you have the proper labels and postage, which you can do on their website.
