That is a beauty ! and in my favorite old caliber.
I've never had a custom. That however stopped me in my tracks. I think I was like Pavlov's dog, I started to salivate.
Even with my best scheming, I still don't see how I could make a reasonable offer on such a fine piece.

I love the Vaquero with that great adj. rear sight added in. Gorgeous lines. Mine, from Harton, use the S&W rear sight and I think I prefer the prewar? style sight David uses here.

I do like David’s sight much better. I had some Stroh guns that were super nice but i couldn’t get past the Smith j rear..
