If I was ever put in charge, I’d make jeweling anything on a single action a mild felony.

Just really ruins the lines and looks of a SA for me. And in fairness I’d only make it a MILD felony. You could probably plead it down to a misdemeanor.

That would make a good BBQ gun... or something.

3-1/2 oz. trigger? Would never pass David Bradshaw's gloved finger test.

I’ve never cared for gold plated anything on a handgun.

I'm not seeing anything much in the line of custom. It's ported and hopefully they meant 3.5 lbs on the trigger pull.
Besides that it seems that finishing is the only thing that's not factory. Either that or I'm missing something?

I think it is like how putting an AR-15 together makes you a gunsmith

Well, everyone can relax if they're bidding. I will be one less person to bid it higher.
No offense to anyone who favors this type of "Custom." But, I don't get it.
I saw a "Custom" a few days back on another forum. It was being sold as "designed to be the perfect packing pistol." It was a Ruger 3.75" Blackhawk that had been refinished to some degree, but nothing else. I appreciate a good looking gun and fully understand that everyone's taste is different. But, refinished and custom are not the same things in my book...

And to think I could have bought a factory original 3 screw 41 the year before last for the same price. If I hadn't just bought those three 3 screw .357's.

The bids higher than what I would pay now. Got to consider the cost in to customize the "custom". New hammer, ejector housing, Wells grip frame, trigger, Bowen sight, etc...
