We don't generate enough gallon jugs here. I use the Juicy-Juice jugs now. Used the 5 gallon yellow cat litter buckets before that.

Nice...thanks for the test...
One hint on recovering more bullets...take two pieces of 2x6 or 2x8 or even some strips of plywood and using 2-3 clamps put one board on each side of the jugs and clamp them into a long channel. If you want to make sure the bullet doesn't get away buy an outdated body armor panel and put it between the last two jugs.

I'd thought about using a deflector to assure the capture of bullets,, but figured it wouldn't give me the true penetration results I was seeking. I just decided to change types of jugs, AND aim a bit left of center. Cat litter jugs,, are wider,, but similar thickness as milk jugs,, but are wider.
I don't have any body armor plates,, and I'll allow my son to keep his,, he needs to wear them at work.
