Thanks TD. That's my custom shop 500 Linebaugh 5". The grips are Chigs Elmwood burl. It now has a 2dogs extra tall brass front sight.

Quick question: Is the Ruger Super Blackhawk hammer a drop-in swap for the BFR hammer?

A SBH hammer did drop in and function in my BFR, however the SBH hammer is not as tall as a BFR hammer and leaves an unsightly gap at the top. MRI is now making a hammer for the BFR that has a wide spur and really improves the look of the gun to me. The MRI custom shop replaced my hammer about a year ago and I assume they are still available.
