Had not really thought about it until recently... The claim is that these face triggers reduce the reach to the trigger by a full .25 inches... That can mean a lot to some guys

I’ll be interested to hear what you have to say about it. I generally leave internals (aside from barrels) stock, but I wouldn’t mind trying a new trigger.

I run them in my G34, G35, G41, and G17L and like them. Planning to install one in a G36 this week. The complete assembly usually runs $100 and more. These "trigger shoes" are about $20 each.

Face triggers look like this ***** Srtan.... load pistol. Put in deep freezer for one hour. Put gloved hand in freezer with gap shrouded for five minutes. Pull out pistol, insert finger.... see if you can pull the trigger. If the aftermarket trigger safety depresses and the gun fires, while the factory trigger remains locked, go for it. This tests whether the aftermarket trigger works, or is a gimmick. All the greatness of a Glock is CONDITIONAL. David Bradshaw

Interesting test.... "...load pistol..." complicates the test. This is something I'll have to try when the wife is out of the house...

The Suarez triggers in the picture are nice, but as much as I am a fan of them, just put an Apex trigger into a G48X MOS. I kinda like the Apex.....

Looking at location of pivot and trigger front surface I can’t see how it reduces reach to the trigger???

Isn't much but when the reach is an issue any is better than nothing.

Axe I was comparing the intersection of the “safety” to the pivot pin on both and really couldn’t see a major difference. If you take a straight edge and run it vertically from the front of the pivot pin to the intersection of the safety with the trigger “shoe” it might be a sixteenth. Now if you’re comparing the bottom of the trigger then ok, but I was looking at where your finger should be centered on the trigger.
