What recipes are you guys burning in your 221 FB rifles?
I have all kinds of powder, and 3 or 4 dozen different bullets to try. Anything from35gr. to 62gr.
Gun is a Remington 700 classic.
I haven't done any load development for this rifle yet, as it came with 900 rounds of factory ammo when I purchased it.

I used Reloder 7 with a 40 grain Vmax or similar bullet in a Sako rifle that my grandpa stocked. It was pretty good on prairie dogs at least to two hundred yards.

I loaded 3 different 40gr bullets with AA1680 and RL-7. Now I gotta go try them.

I've got a Rem 700 Light Varmit and have had no luck with any bullets over 45 grains. Good deal there scoring all that ammo with it. Brass has been hard to find. Made 300 cases from new factory 223 but would opt for Lapua @ 80 cents each if I was to do it again.

I've use RL-7 and Nosler 40 gr. BT in my Cooper and Contender Carbine. I have 2 boxes of the Starke 36 gr. I still have to play with.
