this summer has been so busy... I missed my window for mowing a path through the corn field, before it got 6ft tall, so I haven't mowed my range all summer... hoping we have a long fall so I can whip it into shape & get some time to play... shot this a long time ago... I kinda like playing long range with light calibers & doping the wind...

Busy summer, busy YEAR.
I miss shooting mine too. I got to shoot my 222 and my 30-30 once, just a few weeks ago, but I need MORE.
Nice shooting.

Here at the house it's handguns and a bit less than 50 yds possible. At camp a 100 and 200 yd dirt pile. A few weeks back was gonna run up with M1894 and the 350 Legend but then got text that someone was going up to work on the dirt piles and wouldn't be available. DOH !

What are you shooting the 350 out of? I built a 20" AR upper for one of my lowers for SC whitetail hunting.

I've a Savage Axis 2. I'll call it a carbine. It is light and handy compared to my sporterized 1917 Enfield/Winchester 30-06 ! I need to play with it more. Fell into a case of Win 180gr factory ammo and relaxed my loading efforts. A play load was put together using 147gr XTP 9mm bullets. They won't feed from mag, a single shot thing. The 350 Legend gives me an Ohio/Penn legal rifle good for 200 plus yards which is all I can imagine shooting anyway.

One of my prerequisites when leasing my 30 acres behind my house (which covers my property taxes & then some) is a 10 yard wide strip be left unplanted, so my 250 yard range is always available!

Same here, but the planting rows go across where I have to go, so they always plant across, and tell me to just mow a strip across for my path… this year it got away from me… one day it was ankle high, next thing I knew, it was as tall as I am

Shooting is a sport that you've gotta prepare for, especially when you shoot wildcats I wish all I had to do was cut the grass to see the targets.

6x223 some call it 6x45, kinda like a TCU cartridge The shame was the milling of the front 9 1/2" of barrel! I can only imagine that they were cleaning up an attempted fluted barrel assignment. It shoots like a dream and looks a lot better as:

I like the 17 Remington Fireball, mine is a Cooper model 21. I handload a 20 grain V Max at around 3900 FPS and get a quarter minute at one hundred meters. No recoil and great accuracy and vermin killing power out to 400 meters, got to love it.
