I was checking out a couple of gun shops today, And i came across a deal i just could not pass on. I don't know if I will sell it, use it as trade bait, or have it converted to something else. I bought a Stainless bearcat 4.2 inch with laminated grips , from a local store for 300.00. I might just advertise it on NW Fire arms, at a 50% mark up. I will probably try it out tomorrow, Heck, I might fall in love ! ...tj Fantastic find, those are really beautiful little revolvers!

[/a]
Did someone say "Powers 32 Bearcat"? Still haven't gotten around to shooting this thing...
I don't usually like octagon barrels on revolvers but this one looks right. Gives it a turn of the century pocket pistol look.

Did someone say " 32 cal turn of the century pocket pistol" Kewl story on this on: was the vest gun for US Congressman (and my son's great great great grandfather on the wife's side) Thomas Arnold of Tennessee...family lore has it that he'd put it in his vest on the horse ride from TN to DC when Congress was in session. Sits next to the Bearcat in the safe...also nickel plated (which influenced the decision to nickel plate this revolver).

Thats a really cool story! My Father has my Great Great Grandfather's Saa 32-20 that was nickel plated after the fact and has three notches filed in the grip frame near the trigger guard. Any reason for this was taken to the grave.
