That is a nice looking revolver ! And in a great cartridge, I wonder witch level of the Brian Pierce data it would handle !

It'll handle the 25k just fine. Remember the same gun is available in 45 ACP and the walls are much thicker on the 44 Special.
The Uberti Revolvers have a slightly larger cylinder than the Colts.
It is a beautiful gun...

Called Cimarron.
All their model Bisleys are safety hammers with the retracting firing pin.
What a shame

I'm curious as to the preferences towards traditional 4 click clock work as apposed to those with retracting firing pin.
I have three El Patron's with the retractable firing pin clock work. They are smooth, spot on timing and excellent trigger break.
I've handle both. I like the advantage of being able to load six cartridges safely(same as new model Ruger).

Do these tend to regulate with the sights only with standard pressure loads? How far off are they when loads get up to 22k or 25k psi? I’m interested in a 44 spec Cimarron.

Hotter loads generally shoot lower for me. Less dwell time in the barrel. Heavier (slower) bullets generally shoot higher.
I've got a Uberti Callahan, Cimarron Bad Boy and Uberti Flattop Target that all shoot the 44 Special fine. The first two of those are 44 Magnum Revolvers.
You shouldn't have any problems...

Seems couple of you guys like how they work. Maybe Ill try again when a Bisley gets in stock and use it as is I have a Uberti CMS pro and it is a 4 click but has that safety bar with rod in hammer. It has a ruff spot as you pull back the hammer do to the added mechanism. Its a 4 click though. I might take the rod and bar out of the hammer .

I have 3-click Taylor's and newer Ubertis. I also have old Ubertis and 4-click Cimarrons, which they still make. Honestly, I can't tell any difference in how they cycle. Unless I'm trying to count clicks, they're equal. I know the purists frown on the 3-click version. But then again, the Italian guns have slightly larger diameter cylinders. And you rarely hear of folks taking exception to that. BTW, all Piettas are still 4-click. To my knowledge, the only 4-click Ubertis all go to Cimarron. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

I've shot a lot of revolvers and honestly never counted the clicks. I know we all have our own thing, but that's one I don't get.
The Uberti Bisley has been calling my name. I've never even held one. Wish they'd make some Flattop Target Revolvers with the Bisley Parts...

Nice bisley .
Any opinions on the Dixie gunworks Ubertis ? Anything special about the Dixie imports? or just run of the mill?
My one Cimiarron is my smoothest of my Ubertis. And Cimarrons are supposed to be built to stricter standards by Uberti
Wondering where the Dixieguns stand? I have No experience with the Dixies at all

I believe Dixie just sells the "reg. line". As far as the retracting firing pin design, I've had a few through the shop and they seem to be a very capable continuation of an excellent line of S.A.'s. I also like the idea of 6 in a six shooter . . . with no transfer bar to break!!
There's a SS El Patron Competition (45C/ 45acp) near by that I'm seriously considering. Had a blue one that was a fav.!!!
