My first big bore revolver was a Redhawks. The first critter I shot with it was a squirrel in the top of a hickory tree (bad = not a good backstop. Good = hot .44 mag is sufficient for squirrels).
I've shot a number of deer and other critters with it; but it has never been a "favorite". Just the way it feels for me.. Nothing wrong with it at all and I still have it. In fact, it currently has a Burris 2x7 on it. That setup would likely be a big improvement. Nice looking gun.
