Apparently not.
The only Devil Dogs I'm familiar with are in the snack aisle at my LGS (Local Grocery Store).

I bought an AR upper from someone (second hand but unfired) that was supposedly built by a company of the same name. No idea if it's actually the same company. Standard stuff as far as ARs go.

The guy(s) that originally set up that company claimed that he/they were USMC Scout/Sniper alumni, and made much ado about that. They got busted for stolen valor; while at least one was a Marine, none were Scout/Sniper qualified. That left a sour taste in a lot of people's mouths and even though the company is under new management, they are still struggling. Their 1911s look basically OK, although they don't offer anything that a lot of other people don't, as well. Their slide graphics are large and gaudy, and not at all attractive to me. I might buy one of their pistols at the right price, but I wouldn't be counting on a long-term warranty. Who knows how long they'll be around?

People who do stuff like that just fly all over me. I absolutely detest "those types" of people. BTW... if anyone ever wants to see my DD214, all you have to do is ask and send me a cell number. I thanked a man wearing a Veteran's hat in Wal Mart once. He said he was a Veteran but not a Combat Veteran because all he did was work the mail room; at that moment he dropped his eyes a little. I told him "Then a BIGGER thank you because without people working in those jobs I wouldn't have heard from home, gotten my morale packages or heard from my friends at other bases. You really dont know how important you were to the machine of it all." He brightened up quite a bit, smiled and shook my hand again thanking me for my kind words. I like to think I made his day but in my mind, he made his own day because he was honest about what he did.

Years ago i worked with a guy who claimed to be a Viet Nam Vet. He said things that didn't add up, but I was not quite certain he was a lying sack of @#%$ so I kept my mouth shut. One day a guy was talking about his new Glock, And the fool, said , that's what my secret unit carried in Nam. And I Finally called him out. I had a Glock 23 at the time and was well versed on history of the gun and the company. And unless his secret unit was in Viet Nam long after the war was over he sure was not carrying a Glock. He never fooled anybody anyway. Another guy i worked with who was about 5'4" And had some serious scars , Claimed he was a Helicopter pilot in Viet Nam, Said he had been Shot 7 times and stabbed four, I was very skeptical, not ready to call him out, until I had more evidence, I talked to a couple Chopper pilots I knew and got some questions to ask, and he did not know a damn thing about Helicopters , I never called him out though cause he was fighting cancer. But i was tempted anyway. And one more complete Idiot claimed the scar on his back was from a bullet in Afghanistan. Problem was the scar was right directly over the vertebrae in the middle of his back. No way in hell he got shot there and could still function like a regular guy. And one last guy claimed he got shot square in the knee cap with an AK, And Walked without even a limp. I told that story, to a guy we worked with who I knew was a 3 tour green Beret, and was as big as a NFL Defensive end , (my nickname for him was instant death) , And he about had that guy pissing his pants.!... I tried to Join the Army and the Navy, and they would not take me because I had asthma. So i never got above the rank of Taxpayer, but i sure thank a vet, any vet. Thank you all, And while i am at it, thanks to all us taxpayers too, it far to easy to be deadbeat anymore ! ...tj
