These are the only copies I have now, from Uberti. The SAA copy is a .44 Special from Cimarron, the Flat Top is .45 Colt and I bought used. Not sure who the importer was Bob Wright

This was my first venture into Uberti made Single Actions. It is the Cattleman and was imported by Iver Johnson. This is a .44 Magnum of 1975 vintage. Beautiful gun, and well made and fitted, but had some issues. I traded it off and the buyer used it as a .44 Special was was completely happy with it. The issues I had were that it was poorly sighted, and the frame puckered up from passage of the firing pin. Bob Wright

I have no "replicas", but I do have a number of Colts. I guess I'm a snob, but after the real thing the replicas aren't quite right.

I favor late production USFA single actions. I actually have a number of them and all but one are chambered for the 45 Colt cartridge. Also, all but two of them are the rarer black powder frame models. The outlier is marked "38 Colt & S&W Special".

8 Cimarron, 12 Pietta, 14 Uberti (Stoeger, DGW & Taylor's), 4 USFA, 2 Colt SAA's and 2 Colt DA's. You could say I like them.
