I checked this guns store the other day traveling to a job site. Its somewhat local to me and I have never heard of it till I saw a recent advertisement in a local outdoor magazine. Seeing the add I decided to stop. Glad I did they had a great inventory of some really nice older guns, I did not see any junk in there to be honest. Lots of older great guns. Older Smiths, Winchesters, Savage 99, Remington , Rugers, Colts. I walked out with a Smith and Wesson model 34 in great shape for $700.00. I though that was fair considering what I see on gun broker. Actually all there prices seemed fair but I may not be in tune as others hear. They do have a website and based on my visit it looks like spot on with what I saw in there inventory. www.broomefirearms.com/

That is one dangerous website. And what is a Smith 46? Budget version of the Model 41. They didn't make them long and they are somewhat hard to find.

It was a great store. Going back next week. You guys that know better than me. How you all think there prices fall in live overall. Like I said with the current situation they seem fair.

...whenever you see a big inventory of great older guns like that in one shop...it's because he is mighty "proud" of them.

They have a great selection of older stuff, for sure. And there is some I'd like to own. But there is not one I'd pay the asking price for. Seem kinda high to me, but I've been known to be a bit of a cheapskate.

Wow!!! He has a 1905 HE in 32-20 that looks awesome. He also wants $1500.
That was truly a great experience seeing so many vintage sixguns at one place. Amazing. That dealer looks like he has a great eye for talent. All his items look sweet. If you really want a great shooter quick, it might not hurt to shoot him a bid.

This shop definitely an outstanding selection of very nice OM Ruger's & Pre Lock S&W's...Both of which command a premium price in this day & age. He's obviously put a good deal of effort in ammasing such a fine selection...Most shops I visit anymore MAYBE have half a display case full of revolvers, usually brand new stuff, while the rest are full of plastic pistols or low mid level 1911's. I'd say adjusted for inflation, his prices are definitely North of what these kind of guns were selling for 25-30 years ago, that being said, they were far more commonly available back then as well, thats just not the case anymore.
