Hello,
I'm hoping this is the right section for this question. Does anybody know if 7x Leather is still in business? The listed phone number seems to be disconnected, and I have not received a reply to my emails. I'm hoping he's just very busy, would really like his chest holster for my BFR.
Thank You!

That'd be a nice setup for a Colt barreled Redhawk.

Looks like the mystery is solved, thank you very much for your reply!
I have seen the 7x and really liked them, I'm curious if they continue to make them the same way. Sent them an email.
Thanks Again!

You are welcome. It is the same holster, at least the one I have.

Wes Daems @ 7X Leather made me a nice chest rig for my .500 JRH BFR that I received a year ago (July 2020). He got a major contract to make holsters for American Guncraft for their Diable shotgun pistols. As I understood it from Wes, the AGC contract was taking all of his time away from his 7X orders. Wes is a very nice guy with great talent, just very, very busy. He has a large ranch to care for as well. I looked at Paradise Valley chest holsters and they similar but are different. Also it looks like they cannot make holsters for any pistols with optics, whereas 7X Leather could.

Diamond D Leather makes the Guides Choice chest holster for optics. It's a very nice holster.

Thank you all for your replies. Looking at the Paradise Valley Leather website it doesn't look like their holster is made like the 7x, I'll know more when they reply to my email. I've heard many good things about the Barranti holster, I just can't find a picture of how they are worn. Since they are described as bandoleer style I'm not sure it is what I am looking for. I'll probably go with the Diamond D.
WARDOG, thank you for the update, sounds like you got yours in the nick of time!

I use the 7x for my iron sighted 7.5” Ruger’s Super Blackhawk and Super Redhawk. My Barranti Northeast Hunter is used for all my 7.5” Scoped Freedom Arms Revolver. Both can be adjusted to be worn in multiple positions - from center of your chest to waist height crossdraw and anywhere in between. The Barranti is the only rig I’ve found that I can carry a scoped revolver comfortably, all day long. In my opinion, it is superior to all others.

Just so we have our facts straight:
I received an email reply from Gordon Dellwo, the owner of Paradise Valley Leather. He bought out Clark Fork Leather, not 7x Leather.
He is currently not offering holsters for BFRs, because has not been able to get his hands on a mold. From what I saw on the website he sells holsters at a lower price point, so he appears to incorporate webbing and plastic fasteners, which seems to be pretty much standard with most holster makers. If I were in the market for that type of holster I would give Paradise Valley Leather a try, the owner seems like he'd be good to do business with.
After so many positive reviews I'm now leaning toward the Barranti Leather NW Hunter.
Thanks again for all the replies and recommendations.

Wes does fine work. I have one of his chest rigs for the SRH and it is top drawer all the way. Very comfortable to wear all day. DiamondD is also very good. I've made a couple chest rigs but they're not my favorite holster to make.

No experience with with the “other” models mentioned but I’m a Diamond D fan all the way. Have 3 of the Guide’s Choice rigs. Used to refuse to make a holster with optic cut outs but now they will. Might end up with a 4th.
