By know you should all know, any device capable of transmitting voice or taking voice commands..LISTENS. If you and the wife discuss seafood restaurants or the possibility of changing fidos brand of food you will soon see ads on your devices for these things. Another thing recently learned that you may have known for years, the same search on different devices or on different search engines can give different results. You can do the same search on the same device and search engine once a month you will start to notice different results. So, last eve, near end of my 2nd shift, last break, googled Midway 480 BULLETS. Midway did come up 1st but with ammo for sale, not bullets. The other things that came up drifted ever farther from what I asked for. About the 6th or 7th item was an article in/from something called http://www.thefreelibrary.com It is an article on handloading the 480 and a quick scan showed a quite long list of loads. data. I sent a text with link to a couple of you, concerned I'd lose it or not find it this am. With just half a cup of coffee in, trying to find who authored the article and looking at now. Hmmnnn...

Ha ! I do believe I've found the author, our John Taffin ! Neat. Since getting 3 Ruger 480's and keeping 2 of them, thought I'd pretty much found and read an accessed everything 480. NOPE.

I didn't have an interest in the 480 until Ruger chambered it in a S.A.. I have tended to forget it has been chambered in the SRH for ? Two decades ? The article I stumbled on by John Taffin from then. My thought only to bring it back up to 480 newbies which I still am. I have found it to be just what Ruger wanted it to be, a solid but usable step up on the 44mag..

Yes the SRH has been around for a long time now, I used one to take my bull moose in about 03-04 I think it was.

What a great round!
