Anyone have an idea of how much torque to apply to a Dan Wesson 15-2 and/or 744 barrel nut? The information I have says set barrel gap, tighten it, shoot a few rounds and then recheck barrel gap and recheck barrel nut for tightness. I’m OCD and have an engineering back ground. I like specifics. Anyone have an idea other than “sufficiently tight”? I’m going to get out a digital torque wrench and measure what feels tight enough when I get home next weekend. Any thoughts on this applied torque effects accuracy?
