Thanks a bunch Axe. You really know how to put the pressure on me to spend more money. Let us know how it shoots please.

FWIW these aren't carrying the $600 price tag of the stainless 44 Special FTs.... Got this one from a dealer on the Ruger forum for $515 shipped...
Popped a few caps this morning... My eyes did their trick last night so there was no accuracy testing... The front sight was a fuzzy blob. 85 JHPs at about 1400 made a pretty good pop with very little recoil.... When the LBT 130 grain FN PB mold arrives we will work harder at shooting.. Right now thinking Bisley conversion and a good sight upgrade...

You're making me want one of those Axe, and I really don't need one.
If I get caught by my wife sneaking one into my safe, may I use your name as part of the excuse?

It's nice to see that Ruger is using some pretty grips now on their guns. Good thing for you guys, maybe not so good for me. How is the fit?

Fit? Now Cary... You have sent enough stuff to my house to know that I haven't paid any attention to the fit of the factory stuff... ;D

It's nice to see that Ruger is using some pretty grips now on their guns. I saw a stainless Bearcat at a gun show last weekend that had such beautiful factory grips that it almost came home with me.

Better grab one if you want one... Boy over on the Ruger forum are saying that they have seen them on sale for something like $349... That's a pretty good indication that they are NOT SELLING and will soon go away...
