I decided to get in touch with my 1899 Vintage Winchester model 1894 30/30 again. have not shot it in 5 years or so. It is quite nice for it's age. I bought some ppu 150 grain loads and put together some light hand loads. Hornaday 170s over 748 and Sierra 150s over Varget. I hope to take the old girl with me in August when My buddies are bow hunting, and I will tag along with me bear tag. ...tj

I enjoy my 30-30s also…a pair of M64s, one being prewar and my grandfathers M94

I have a Ruger #1K and a Remington 788 in 30-30 WCF. Very much like the old cartridge too.
With Leverevolution Powder is not far off many newer rounds...
