Looks like a coyote. I've seen wild red wolves. Their muzzles look more blunt and they're more long legged

Texas Fish and Game says there are no more Red Wolves in Texas. If there are none left, I cant get in trouble for shooting one. I have (I think) killed two in my life, both while hunting deer. Both were with packs of coyotes so I do believe they crossbreed. They are EASY to pick out. A 35 pound coyote looks tiny compared to them. Just my guess, but I think that is a picture of a coyote and not a wolf. I did not take pictures of the two I shot. I threw them in the brush and figuratively heard whitetails thanking me for my service.
