Looks like you need to use the ear plugs made for gas checks.

Will have to check out, see how Jerry pulled it off. I briefly tried ear plugs but they got stuck at the cylinder gap. 6mm airsoft BB's shatter into shards, maybe for some uses that'd be ok, but I saw it as a failure in my everlasting search for ballistic media.
