On any forum, you have to first put your pictures on a "host" site, then copy & paste according to that site's methods.
I use PostImage myself. Fairly idiot proof,, (I know,, because I can do it easily.)

I'm kinda long winded, so bear with me. (It's not really THAT complicated.)
1) Photo(s) should be on your computer and you should be logged in on this board. 2) Open a second window on your browser (if you are on a windows machine it's the little "+" symbol on the top bar of the window) and go to - imgbb.com 3) Click on the "start uploading" button and this will open the photo collection on your computer and you can then select (single click) the photo you want to upload - then click the open button in that window. 4) This will place the image on the imgbb page (if you want to add more images, click the highlighted "your computer" text, NOT the "add image URLs") and this will switch you back to your photo collection. then you select the next photo and click open. This will add the second photo to the imgbb page. You can keep doing this until you have all the photos you want on the imgbb page ready for up load. 5) Then on the imgbb page click the "upload" button. 6) This will upload the images and you will be switched to an "upload complete" window. 7) Open the "embedded codes" dropdown box and select the "BBCode full linked" - this will put a line of code/computer speak into the box below it. 8) With your mouse cursor in that box, you will then see a small grey "copy" button (top right corner of the box). click that "copy" button once only and you will get a quick yellow background flash that signifies the code has been copied. 9) Switch back to this page and set your cursor to a "last" empty line and right click the mouse. 10) Select the "paste" option and the BB Code will appear below your cursor. 11) Click the "BBCode" button on the bottom of this page and then the "Preview" button and VOILA! You should then see your post, complete with pictures!

Fairly idiot proof,, (I know,, because I can do it easily.) Its not accurate to say that on ANY forum you must have a host site. This is the ONLY site of several forums I post on that requires a host to post. The only one. All other forums I play on allow direct attachment to your post with pics from your device, in my case a home PC.

I prefer posting from my own host so I retain control over my pictures. If I want to take them down, I can, even if the board admin kicks my sorry butt to the curb.

My mistake nolongcolt. On the very few forums I visit, (4) to post pics, you have to use a hosting site. I'm constantly seeing folks ask "how" to post pics & all I've ever heard is to use a hosting site.

I hear the same thing a lot too. Using a host unless necessary just adds to the process of posting pics.

I'm constantly seeing folks ask "how" to post pics & all I've ever heard is to use a hosting site. In the early days... (when digital photos were still measured in KB) forums were more able to provide direct hosting. Now pics are much larger & more detailed. I'm guessing it becomes too costly.
