the description I guess tells what it is, curious if anyone recognises the cylinder... grip frame fit looks a little loose, & either some real heavy dragging on the cylinder or been played with by a ham fisted pistolero what are your thoughts??? www.gunbroker.com/item/897831543

Why is the cylinder drag line behind where the cylinder notches would normally put it? Huh.

I thought the same thing. I’ve cycled my cimarron a bunch of times and it hasn’t developed any hint of a line

Mike Harvey of Cimarron deserves most of the credit for the upgrading of Ubertis to today's quality

Why is the cylinder drag line behind where the cylinder notches would normally put it? Huh. This can happen when the screw in the rear sight extends through the bottom of the top strap. However, this sixgun does not have an adjustable sight so I wonder if there wasn't something stuck under the top strap or behind the locking bolt on the bottom of the frame. There is no way this sixgun is worth $599!

since apparently the cylinder is not original, it could have originally been on a gun with adjustable sights???
I'm not considering this one... just was flipping through the Uberti's after posting Huey's pictures thought I'd see what is available... saw this poor thing & had more questions

I believe I'm going to add a Uberti Lightning next. Maybe a 4.75" 45 Colt and fit a 45 ACP Cylinder to it...

I don't really have a preference. I'm not that much of a purist anyways. Most of mine have the retractable firing pin and I have had zero issues.

personally I'm all about practical & safety... like the stainless over nickel, in a silver gun, & the ability to fill the gun, over the classic clicks

I grew up on Ruger NM SA's, but really like the OM action too.
I guess I need to get used to the Uberti's new action... their guns are very attractive.

I don't want to highjack Mag's Thread. But, I've been very vocal about Uberti Revolvers. They are absolutely the most underrated value out there.
Those 40 years ago, not so much. But, have 11 of them now and not a bad one in the bunch.
I've learned to accept things change. Some that used to be crap are now great. Some that used to be great are now crap. It's just a matter of dealing with reality.
