Frank of Rocking K Saddlery and Zane of Lone Star Custom grips really came through for me. The Dall sheep horn stocks came in today. I had ordered the holster a few months back while the bisley was being worked over. Really happy with the outcome. Can't wait to get it to the range. Frank made these Threepersons holsters for me a while back. The short one features the same carving that Teddy Roosevelt had on some spur straps. I also have one of Franks Texas lawman jockstrap holsters. It's a show stopper.

I’ve always liked the dark background on a carved leather holster, and Zane does very nice work, I was admiring my bighorn grips just about an hour ago.

You are a blessed man, in the field and on the range. What does the oxblood holster fit, if I may ask.

Started as 3 3/4 bisley convertible. Was terrible in every possible way. Bad barrel. Only thing it had going good was tight chambers and was a ruger so it could be worked over. Ended up with new taper barrel, Fermins stainless base mirror sight, Bowen rear sight, line bored for Bowen base pin, internal action work, set screw through frame for free spin, cylinder was fluted and bp bevelled, slotted pins.
