Does anybody here have experience with this cartridge? Starline sells it... A regular rimmed cartridge the same diameter as 45 Colt, but case length is same or similar to 45 auto. Made for lights loads in Cowboy Action Shooting matches.
I have 45 Colt brass and for kicks I back ordered some 45 Schofield and then this one piques my interest, too.

Seen them before... think they are essentially a 45 Autorim with a thinner rim made specifically for light loading for CAS shooting
I just use Trailboss in my 45 Colt CAS cartridges plus I’m not looking for something too light anyway... I think my CAS loaded 45 Colt are 250 grain lead at about 760 FPS
But then I never tried to shoot the lightest loads possible just to win
Being they are still good Starline brass, I’m sure they could be loaded up to +P 45 ACP levels in a revolver and if there was a revolver available with a smaller frame and shorter Cylinder they could make a nice specialty carry cartridge

They will fit in some .45acp cylinders. That makes it possible to crimp and not have the jump in .45Colt cases.........
Some folks shoot them in Taurus .45 auto revolvers too........
