HAT STUFF: HOW MANY BASEBALL HATS DO YOU HAVE? HOW MANY DO YOU NEED? AND MOST TIMES WE GET THESE CAPS FOR NOTHING. Here are a few of them... when you put each one into a hat box, it takes up a lot of space.

Over the last 5-10 years I have collected an assortment of "stuff" that weighs 2000-3000lbs per. Moving them one at a time was a challenge. I can't imagine a complete move

At 77, and in the same house for 35 years, I have WAY WAY too much stuff. Including projectile throwers. Come see me. Bring money. If I called my collection "projectile throwers", my kids would think I was talking about trebuchets. Ken, if you decide to have a yard sale, give me a heads up - I can be there in about 2 hours - with money.

In hindsight there was no need to be mysterious about my stuff: machine tools. I've been picking them up one by one and self-teaching in their use.

I have 15000# of stuff. Well I did 3 years ago when I moved. Should be about the same. Moving every 2-3 years keeps me from accumulating too much junk. I imagine it'll get bad when I retire from the CG in June.

Most of my felt hats have been worn in the rain. If I know it's going to storm, I will generally wear an old Stratton western I salvaged. When a felt hat gets wet, you just shake it off, take the opportunity to perfect the crease, and set it on a stand to dry. .

Edk... my fabricator buddy has a scrap guy, that always brings stuff by that is too good to scrap... he got 2 interesting pieces recently... and old 40” foot operating shear( just like the one I used in 7th grade shop class when we build a tool box ) I’ve been really tempted to pick that up from him... ornamental iron base and all
The other was an old shaper ( think that’s what he called it ) that runs a carbide cutter back and forth... he got that one going, and actually used it for a project in his shop
