I am aware of room in an upcoming 1911 armorers class. It's a one day class taught by Ned Christiansen. Cost is $200.
As an occasional 1911 shooter, I'm wondering if it's worth it.
Any thoughts?

It would be to me. You are the only one that can answer that question for you.

More knowledge vs. money...I'd go with knowledge every time.

I signed up. A one-day class won't be in-depth, but, at least I will acquire some new knowledge.

I envy you Dick. As stated, if 200 bucks won't shut the lights off, go for the front of the class.

A great class. Ned Christiansen is an encyclopedia. of 1911 knowledge. I'm absolutely amazed about the internal workings of the 1911 and how John Browning designed it prior to computers and CAD.
My mind doesn't easily grasp mechanical workings, so I was challenged and can't say I now understand everything. But, I do feel comfortable enough to finally dig into the books I have on the 1911.
