I have said lately that I strive to be a bad guesser.
There's no telling what didn't fit for the client, but that's a nice looking piece.

I understand he wanted a black powder chamfer on an unfluted cylinder.
Hamilton flutes his chamfered cylinders so he did what he does.
Not sure but i think he built the guy another gun.

Love those grips. Actually, the whole gun. And i too don't fully understand why not many .44 mags. Maybe most single action fans are more traditionalists for way back and go with .45 or 44 special fot that reason??
