I experimented with 2400 and 4227, before settling on H-4198 for hard-cast 250 gtainers. I wasn't happy with the inconsistencies I was seeing with the first two powders, but was more than pleased when H-4198 turned in S.D. of 9 or less. I was looking for a hunting load for my '73 Winchester (Uberti) that would also perform well in a 6-gun...
