Will the BFR factory rear sight fit Ruger SA revolvers?

YES AND NO. THE SPRING HOLES ARE DIFFERENT BUT THE BFR LPA SIGHT WILL WORK ON RUGERS. BESIDES THE DIFFERENT SPRING HOLES OTHER ISSUES YOU MAY ENCOUNTER ARE: 1) SOME SIDE TO SIDE SLOP AS THE BFR RS IS NOT ALWAYS A TIGHT FIT IN THE RUGER RS CHANNEL, 2) THE RS BLADE MAY BE A LITTLE TOO TALL, MAKING THE RUGER SHOOT HIGH (EASILY FIXED BY GRINDING A WEE BIT OFF THE TOP OF THE RS BLADE, 3) THE ELEVATION SCREW MAY BE A TAD LONG, ESPECIALLY WITH OVERSIZE CUSTOM CYLINDERS, ALSO AN EASY FIX BY FILING DOWN THE END OF THE SCREW, AND 4) THE RS STICKS OUT FURTHER BACK THAN A RUGER SIGHT. I HAVE BFR RS's ON SEVERAL OF MY RUGERS AND REALLY LIKE THEM.

UNDER SINGLE-ACTION REVOLVERS THERE IS A THREAD ABOUT FERMIN'S ALL BRASS FORNT SIGHTS. IN THAT THREAD I HAVE PICTURES OF 2 CUSTOM RUGER REVOLVERS, EACH WITH BFR RS's.

I bought 2 of the BFR rear sights for a BH and a Single6. They fit very well and greatly improve the sight picture. The spring setup is different, but I don't think that will be an issue.I haven't shot them yet to see how compatible the front sights will be. They seem like a real bargain.
