Definitely looking for the Ruger single action manual. Wouldn't mind having the others. Anybody have a set they'd sell?
Thanks, Dutch

Heard about but never perused a copy. How does it compare to Jerry Kuhnhausen?

Jerry's books are invaluable,, and much more detailed. These guides are more of a compliment to Jerry's book, and also use good pics & common language explanations. Not as in depth or detailed,, but well worth having if you like to work on stuff. I always say you can NOT have too much material to study if you wish to learn something.

Funny, just last week I came across my two range rods that he made many years ago.

I've got Iowegan's books, but didn't realize Kuhnhausen did a book on Ruger single actions. Just so happened to need a couple things from Midway today, so went ahead & ordered one while I was at it.

Iowegan's "books" were mostly published to assist many folks in their quest to tinker with guns. When they were being done,, getting copies was easy. Then the owner (Iowegan) had issues with some folks & stopped selling them. He always seemed to be a bit "gruff" to many folks. He didn't like the ruger forum dot com,, so he started the dot net one. And now,, he's no longer owner of that. His "books" or as I refer to them,, "guides" are pretty good. That's why I got several different ones.
Not as easily found anymore.
