Did they do anything else on your build? Great looking rifle! What did the stock set you back?
Which scope rings did you end up going with? I have one of the 6.5 w their bottom metal and love it.
Would be nice to lighten it up a bit.

Hey Guys, Sorry for the delayed reply, was handling some family affairs all day. The stocks for the mini are a tad over $500 now I think. I did all the installation myself, so I wasn't without the little rifle for any period of time, it was just a matter of waiting for parts to arrive. I did have a Burris 30mm Hubble Telescope on it at first and this is a picture of the first three Barnes 100gr TTSX's out of the barrel. I pulled the Burris off because it brought the overall weight up over 6-1/4lbs. I haven't been able to duplicate that group yet with this 1" Leupold Ultimate Slam 3-9X40, but, I also haven't played with loads too much yet. I've settled on a load that consistently gave me @ 5/8"-1" at 100yds. I'll tinker later on if I feel I need to try and tighten the group up further at some point, but for now, 1" @ 100yds is good-n-uff for hogs, pronghorn, coyotes and blacktail. It' gonna be a joy to carry! Mike

That's an awesome rifle! Now you have me going off the deep end pricing out something like this for myself!

When my cousin started working for Blaser I was offered to go on a cull hunt with him (I had to pay my way, but my travel and tags were gifted to me). Covid shut that down. I still built my ultra light Savage 7mm Rem Mag. It all went well and good till I pulled the trigger on it for the first time. "Youre gonna feel a little pressure." is an understatement. But the accuracy is there! Glad your is also!

Glad it's a shooter.... at least it is again once.... when you've started to forget about the punishment from the previous range sessions!

I built it figuring I would pack it a lot; shoot it once (maybe twice). Hitting within a 2 inch center at 200 yards off a bench is easy. I have never fired a five shot group off the bench. Cant do it. I start to get a little "punch drunk" after 3 rounds. 3 rounds at 200 are under 2.5 inches though. Best I have done. Now I sight it in 2 rounds per day, one day between groups. I know my limits.
