UPS guy just barely made it before it started getting dark, so here are a few hastily-snapped pics, taken at waning sunlight in a drizzling rain. Better pics to come later.

I did manage to pop-off a few of Al's loads he developed for his stainless gun - 438-grain Keith / 28 grains H4227 / CCI 350 / Hornady cases / 1138 fps out of Swede's gun.

Note Dustin's redesign of the rear sight insert - I called him to thank him for the gun, and he asked me how I liked the new sight. VERY nice, and even easier to pick-up in low-light conditions than the earlier version. Kid's always thinkin'.

Good-lookin' thumper, I think. I LIKE the blued hammer, even if it was my idea.

I have to say, it was. Still, the wait was "only" a year and a half, which is about half of what Dustin's backlog runs. I traded Al Anderson out of a space in line.

Another COOL thing about this one - both Dustin and John worked on it. When I had my heart attack a year ago (watched Super Bowl XLIII from the hospital), John wanted to have a hand in the making of my gun. So he made the cylinder, and Dustin did the rest. John's contribution was relatively minor, but it was super-classy of him to want to put his hand in it as a get-well gesture. A fine couple of guys, they are.
