Just a quick write up on this tool. Fantastic. In a word. Go to the web sight and check out the short video Ronnie does on the tool. It’s as easy as it looks, and works. No more having a punch fly out, or little screwdriver flop around. I popped the pin in and out a few times, just because it was so easy. Great tool for SA Ruger work.

Mine has almost stopped any bad language that might be heard while assembling a RBH. The one time I was having an issue with the spring and pin was my fault.

***** Go to RW Grip Frames website. Persons who do not regularly tear down the Ruger New Model will benefit greatly from Ronnie Wells’ 3rd Hand. Persons who frequently tear down the New Model will love the 3rd Hand. You can even do it in your lap, which would be ridiculous to try with just two hands. As Bill Ruger would say, “You can’t do a damn thing without tools!” I keep a RWGF 3rd Hand in my basic gun tool, .50 BMG can. David Bradshaw

I remember seeing another tool for this on Brownells and believe it used a screw to push down on the spring. It still would make it easier than doing what I had been doing.
The 3rd Hand just makes it so easy. Like I stated earlier, it almost stopped all bad language from being heard during disassembly and reassembly of a NM BH. With this tool I almost look like I know what I'm doing (assuming the person watching hasn't ever worked on a BH of course).

Just used this tool again, putting together a Blackhawk Bisley (500 Linebaugh) project after fitting up a RW gripframe. Brings a smile, as easy as it makes it.

My third hand came in today. Made a breeze of swapping out broken transfer bar. The trigger pivot pin pushed right out. Deserves a gunsmithing innovation award. Excellent work Ronnie!

Every time I use it, it brings a smile to my face. What a very clever little tool.

Hey Guys! If you dont mind could you add your reviews of the tool (or any product) to the website product page?
A blurb about it would go a long way for us in getting the word out. Thanks!
