Made 125 lbs of sausage and 40lbs of elk burger yesterday. Already about got the wife’s deer eaten.

Congratulations. I miss chasing mulies in eastern Colorado. I killed some nice ones a few years ago. Challenging but doable.

Thank you guys. I always apply for the MD tag but don’t get it every year. Got a good one in 18 but white tails most other years. It’s fun to chase them around. There is a good population where we hunt. Not massive trophy type deer but lots of them.
It’s fun to mess with them in the rut. And chase them around with recurves too. That’s a hard game.
