Powder Valley is updating their inventory fairly frequently. Of course they have to when it sells out again. I've seen a powder here and there that I wouldn't mind having in the rotation, but I'd want to buy 3 or 4 kegs at a time to spread out the HazMat fee... so I've passed on those powders. But I just don't see things better soon with the current political scene.

No Sir, I dont believe they will get better anytime soon; possibly ever depending on what gets outlawed and when.

Primers at my LGS. There were 4 powders available, none that I have ever used. Bullets looked about the same.

Powder valley has removed the listings of primers from their website. So if you think it’s gonna get better anytime soon.........

Went into the hardware store yesterday and ambled past their little reloading section. They've got three different powders left. Two I didn't recognize and the third was Longshot. Four one-pound bottles, 26 bucks a piece.
While I've never used it, I know it's highly regarded in a number of cartridges I load for. Probably need to go back and pick up a couple pounds. At the very least it could be used as trading fodder for primers, should I run out.

I'm finding Longshot to be in a nice place between Unique and A2400. Have used in 44spec and 480. Like.. Consider using in things you might reach for HS-6 or similar.

Yes Longshot is a fine medium burning powder similar to HS-6 and PowerPistol. If I stumbled onto that shelf I would leave with as many of them as they would allow...
On a side note I was able to order a 8lb jug is AA9 yesterday online for retail price so the $20 hazmat fee wasn’t too hard to swallow. It was the only real “hole” in my powder selection I had since I have fallen in love with it and the 327fed this summer. Shot 2lb of it up this year!

With the plethora of new powders over the recent years that really work well for a round or two I, of late, have purchased powders that are perfectly adequate for a wide range of cartridges. Kind of like it used to be (thinking rifle powders here). A couple of weeks ago it was 8# of 4320 I gave $200 for at my range. I have two sons new to handloading, one a couple of years into it with my youngest starting six months ago. I am well set for powder/primers/bullets for the three of us but our recreational shooting of 9's, 40's 45 ACP's and 223's has halted. I am enjoying my revolvers a bunch, again.

tbbullets.com/ This shop was recommended to me earlier today, I know NOTHING about them but what I’ve read has been good. He says that if it isn’t out of stock and marked such it will ship within 30days. I got 500- 330gr Powder Coated bullets for the JRH for 98.00 shipped?

I am lucky that I believe in a bit of prepping I am set for at least 10 yrs with no cutting back on any shooting.

Keep an eye on Hodgdon’s website for in-stock powders. I have 16# of IMR 4227 heading my way. Have to add HAZMAT fee, shipping and tax but it wasn’t too bad. Today they had 5744 and a few others.
