I can not wait to see the Bradham hammer on a standard bisley grip frame to see the difference.

I can not wait to see the Bradham hammer on a standard bisley grip frame to see the difference. ****** Imagine the Bisley spur rotated to raise tip 1/8-inch. As you know, the factory Bisley has the lowest of all Ruger hammer spurs at full cock. David Bradshaw

As many times as I see the #03 with the Wells grip frame I still can’t get over how well the brass works with the stainless.
I had the awesome opportunity to talk to Mr. Wells today on the phone and it sounds like he has a lot of exciting things coming down the pipeline in regards to hammers. He’s also an all-around awesome dude to talk to and I greatly appreciate being able to monopolize a bit of his time.
The Bradshaw photo series has been very informative and I appreciate the work that has gone into A) The products B) the documentation and C) Conveying all of it to us. Sometimes I feel like I should be paying a membership fee for this site.

Having just done multiple teardowns on Keano’s pair of Ruger Maximums I powerfully longed for a RWGF Third Hand, that clever block of aluminum Ronnie invented to depress the LOADING GATE SPRING on the New Model. Should have thrown one in my toiletry when I jumped the plane. Reckon I’m just a spoiled dog; introduced to a good dog bone, you don’t want to let go. Ronnie’s Third Hand is a great labor saving device for those who service the Ruger New Model.
Especially so, for anyone not familiar with the New Model transfer bar system. While I love the old Peacemaker lockwork, and shared a disdain for Bill Ruger’s improvement introduced in 1973 (100 years after the Peacemaker), my cajoling Ruger to introduce a 10-1/2” Super Blackhawk for silhouette, then putting said S410N “Silhouette Super” on the firing line in 1979 (before we sanctioned a separate REVOLVER CATEGORY), shooting steel convinced me Bill’s New Model is brilliant.
Whether Ronnie Wells designed his Third Hand to facilitate his own work on the New Model[/i, or was thinking of us also, my decades of attending to New Models----often without a vise or machinist’s vise to secure the frame----makes it my duty to recommend it. Saves time & aggravation. The RWGF Third Hand will protect the mental health At first, I worried the Third Hand might scratch the frame, but see no evidence. Precisely machined, with close clearance where you need it. David Bradshaw
